ATLANTA, GA (US), November 29, 2021 – The Fire Retardant Additives (FRA) strategic business unit of Huber Engineered Materials (HEM), a business that is part of the J.M. Huber Corporation portfolio of businesses, announces a price increase for all product lines. The increase is effective January 1, 2022, or as current contracts allow.
Huber is working diligently to reduce unprecedented rising inflation costs and is constantly exploring avenues to best curb the dramatic increases we are currently experiencing in raw materials, natural gas, electricity, packaging materials, carbon credits and (ocean) freight. Huber is committed to securing supply to customers despite current supply chain challenges and being a long-term sustainable partner who continues to invest in new product development, technology, sustainability and people to continue its market leadership position.
The FRA business operates four manufacturing sites in North America and two in Europe.
